Nearly 15 years ago while exploring southern Brazil, Justin Bley embraced the magic of Yerba Mate. As an outdoor enthusiast, Yerba Mate quickly became his "fuel' of choice on all of his backcountry adventures. Through his experience with the Program for Ecological Agriculture and Society at the University of Montana, Justin developed a passion for agri-forestry and permaculture. This passion aligned harmonically with Guayaki Brand Yerba Mate's Market Driven Restoration Business Model. During the past decade Justin has share the Guayaki story and forest re-generating mission as the Yerba Mate category has emerged in North America.
