Lauren Ivison joined Ridgeline Ventures in 2016 with broad transactional and advisory experience across finance, law, and management consulting. Prior to joining Ridgeline, Lauren spent five years in boutique investment banking where she advised emerging growth companies across a variety of industries on capital raises and strategic transactions ranging from $3 to $30 million.
Before becoming an investment banker, Lauren was an attorney at the Denver-based law firm of Holme, Roberts & Owen (now Bryan Cave, LLP). In 2009, she was awarded the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year award by the Boulder County Bar Association. Lauren began her career working with Fortune 500 companies as a management consultant at MarketBridge in Bethesda, MD.
A native of Colorado, Lauren is an avid skier who has made tracks in Alaska, Canada, and Japan. In summer months she trades her skis for bikes and hiking boots to explore the Boulder trails with her Australian Shepherd, Maya. Lauren holds a BA from Hamilton College where she was a swimmer and an outdoor program leader. She has a JD from the University of Colorado School of Law and holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
