Stephanie Gripne, Ph.D. is recognized as one of Colorado’s top CEO’s in 2022, Dr. Stephanie Gripne is the Founder, CEO, and creative force behind Impact Finance Center, a think-do tank. Impact Finance Center identifies, educates, and activates foundations, family offices, corporations, and individuals to become impact investors. In addition to having $10B- $50B of assets under education (AUE), Impact Finance Center develops community infrastructure, such as Impact Days (impact investing marketplaces), Impact Investing Institute, Who’s Who in Financial Innovation & Impact Investing (directories), Impact Investing Giving Circles (investor accelerators), and Impact Investor Collectives (investor clubs) with the goal to create a National Impact Investing Marketplace to catalyze $1 trillion in investment capital into social ventures. The three-year pilot CO Impact Days resulted in over 150 new impact investors, sourced over 600 social ventures, and catalyzed over 300 direct impact investments totaling $300M to date, a big achievement for Dr. Gripne and Impact Finance Center. Lauded by Forbes as “the Steve Jobs of impact investing,” Dr. Gripne’s vision is driven by over 20 years of combined experience as an applied academic, investor, and practitioner. She received her Ph.D. from the Boone and Crockett Wildlife Conservation Program at the University of Montana, and has a B.S. in Biology & Wildlife Management from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point and a M.S. in Ecology from Utah State University.
