Reilly Thomas (she/they) is the Director of Operations at Regenerative Rising and is passion about removing barriers to knowledge.
Reilly was introduced to the Regenerative Movement at the dinner table when her mother suggested her family try out a plant-based diet. From there, she dove head first into the literature about food movements, agriculture, and its links to climate change. In college, Reilly studied Environmental Sociology at Colorado State University, where she focused on environmental justice movements and food systems. It was here that she was introduced to the Regenerative Movement through reading Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass.
Reilly entered the Regenerative Movement as the Social Content Intern, and later, the Content Coordinator at Regenerative Rising. After working with a number of non-profit organizations, start-ups and consulting firms, Reilly has returned to Regenerative Rising to collaborate with Seleyn and Erica on the organization’s social media content, curriculum project and broader operational efforts.
Outside of work, Reilly enjoys spending time reading, engaging in fiber arts, taking walks around their local park, and connecting with friends and family. Reilly currently resides in Denver, Colorado where she was born and raised.
