Bill Day

 November 30, 2020

Bill Day has worked in the food industry for over 20 years, focusing on business models for specialty crops like quinoa, spelt and other ancient grains and wheats. Bill started his career working for a flour milling company – ConAgra Mills now Ardent Mills. He spent the first 15 years of his career running operations and learning how to clean and process grains. Later in his career he jumped to Supply Chain and focused on unique grains and how to build grower direct supply chain models that created transparency for the consumer and value for the grower.

Bill brought this experience in farm-to-fork to HB Specialty Foods where he works with key customers to create supply chain models that align with their brand identity. HB Specialty Foods is focused both on novel grains and seeds with nutritional benefits like quinoa, pulses and high amylose wheat, as well as supporting sustainable agricultural practices where these are grown.

Bill and his wife Monika currently enjoy life as empty nesters in Nampa, ID.
