A scholar-in-residence at Middlebury College, McKibben is the author of a dozen books, including The End of Nature, the first book for a general audience on climate change. His new book Eaarth; Making a Life on a Tough New Planet is heralded, as a no-nonsense manifesto illustrating how global warming is no longer merely a threat; it is a reality that has changed the world in profound ways.
