Chris Oliviero

Chris Oliviero has more than 20 years of management, marketing, no antibiotics ever and organic protein experience. He started his career as a business consultant for Fortune 100 brands including FedEx, Toyota,
BMW, Heinz and Molson.

Since 2007, Chris has served in various leadership positions at Perdue Farms. He spent time in plant management before moving into sales as vice president of supermarket deli and trade marketing. He advanced to vice president of club and mass sales. He most recently led the central region sales and premium poultry business development as vice president. Chris has developed and overseen several of Perdue’s mission priorities including establishing the company’s pioneering environmental sustainability strategy, helping launch Perdue’s Harvestland brand and driving the growth of its organic product line. He also led company-wide participation in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed clean-up effort.

In his role as General Manager of Niman Ranch, Chris will report to Jeff Tripician, President of the Perdue Premium Meat Company. He will oversee Niman Ranch’s continued growth in the all-natural protein sector, leading the company’s well-established efforts to support independent U.S. family farmers and ranchers who raise livestock in a humane and sustainable way.

Chris holds a bachelor of arts degree from Middlebury College in VT and earned his master’s degree in business administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He is originally from Maine and currently lives in Boulder, CO with his wife, Kate and their three children, twin boys and a daughter.
