Katrina Little is the UX Designer and Researcher for Soil Centric. Most recently, she worked in collaboration with Dr. James Fathers and David Houle as project lead author for the book The Golden Age of Design and Redesign, to bring forward the voices and perspectives of young activists and designers on the topic of regenerative design. She is endlessly inspired by nature’s wisdom, and is excited about the potential for the regeneration of our landscapes to support life, drawdown carbon and help lead to outcomes of global health and abundance. She believes that designing community-forward systems is key to addressing the many challenges we currently face: joining Soil Centric and its mission to connect people to the initiatives and work already started around the world furthers that goal. In addition to her work with Soil Centric, Katrina is cultivating an amateur knowledge of mushrooms, growing native and pollinator friendly gardens, and applying biomimicry in various design contexts.
