Kiran Stordalen is the Co-owner of Intelligent Nutrients, a certified organic health and wellness beauty and lifestyle company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The company’s mission “Everything we put in and on our bodies must be nutritious and safe” carries through every product from outset to on shelf. Sustainable, environmentally conscious, unadulterated ingredients and the incorporation of leading scientific technologies define and differentiate their product offerings.
Kiran has more than 18 years of marketing, creative and product development experience in the personal care and consumer product industries. Among her significant previous positions, Kiran served as Vice President of Marketing and Creative for the Aveda Corporation where she was responsible for all categories of business.
She has traveled extensively both domestically and abroad cultivating distribution relationships and raw material supplier alliances in addition to supporting retail store, salon and spa openings.
In Kiran’s current role of Co-owner of Intelligent Nutrients, she participates in all sides of the company’s advancement. Shared brand leadership is Kiran’s main focus, with strong day-to-day management of marketing and creative development, strategic business progression in the industry and ingredient sourcing.
Additionally, Kiran is a trustee of the Horst M. Rechelbacher Foundation, a group dedicated to investing in sustainable environmental practices that support the restoration of the planet. Most recently the HMR Foundation has partnered with the University of Minnesota’s Bee Squad to develop a pollinator sanctuary in Osceola, Wisconsin to study, educate and support the diminishing numbers of pollinators.
Over the last few years she has spoken on sustainable business practices, emerging technology and growth in the organic market. Kiran serves on the MacPhail Music Center Board of Advisors in Minneapolis, MN. She includes the 2015 opening of the Kiran Stordalen and Horst M. Rechelbacher Pediatric Pain, Palliative and Integrative Medicine Clinic as one of her greatest contributions to the progressive health movement.
Kiran holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Comparative Religion from St. Olaf College. Kiran is dedicated to daily health and wellness; she is very active and enjoys cycling, yoga, all water activities and winter sports. Privately she is an avid photographer and a passionate enthusiast, collector and lover of photography.
She currently spends her time between three residences, the first in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the second in Osceola, Wisconsin on an organic farm with many rescued farm animals and host to a nature preserve and apiary for pollinators; and the third in New York City.
