After graduating from Colorado College in 2009, Max worked on Capitol Hill before joining Teach For America. After leaving the classroom and returning from a 2500-mile bicycle trip, Max earned a Master of Public Policy from UC Berkeley with a focus on environmental policy and carbon removal. Max currently works as the Director of Policy at Mad Agriculture, a Boulder-based non-profit committed to reimagining and restoring our relationship with Earth through good agriculture. Mad Agriculture is working with partners across the state to organize the Colorado Collaborative for Healthy Soils and push for new policy that supports healthy soils and a sustainable future.
